Re: NOX: Adipositas (586) Release News

Liking adipositas a lot... on xch101, runs lovely. Great selection of titbits to nibble around with.

The xorg borkage made me look back at no-x rawness

Thanks!

Re: herbstluftwm

Thanks chaps! I think the colours are yours dkeg - I haven't touched them. Thanks, they are lovely. Seems like vfu has it's own... I'm quite liking it as a potential alternative to Ranger. I wasn't actually listening to Aphex Twin but thought it is a nice style for a basic computer setup, the digita...

Re: herbstluftwm

Smoothie but I got lazy and switched to herb instead of learning cwm... Not done much to it... this is a eeepc xc101 and I'm just using it for messing about with. Mpsyt for youtube jukebox stuff and maybe some stuff with Rasberry Pi. The work food doesn't get shown very often anymore. Thanks for the...

Re: My smoothie has a few small lumps

It works, I was the problem (hadn't used the wonderful setup script, just adduser). Probably a fitting return for me unfortunately...

Going to be using the machine to serve and play music, all cli based hopefully (sconsify looks quite interested for x64 heads...).

Thanks and sorry for be so thick

Re: CWM: Smoothie (586) Release Notes

Thanks for the warm welcome back. Of course, I never forgot the grill or the roasters. After getting a new job and having an income I experimented with a Mac for a bit... new stuff to me... but got a bit caught up with it. Still used a bbq spin for everyday work for the last two years. No problems a...

[Solved]My smoothie has a few small lumps

Enjoying the new flavours. Such amazing progress. Unfortunately I'm having a few problems though. I've tried installing smoothie and professional +x. They both work fine in a live session but upon installation I can't get to a terminal or dmenu. Smoothie seems to freeze or x not open properly. Just ...

Thanks for this Machine Bacon and also dkeg for the lovely appearance. Wonderful to come back to the grill and to taste fine treats again.

Long fire up the grill!

Re: Chili (amd64) Release News

I didn't, but Just installed the firmware, rebooted and ceni still gives the same error. I was following the Debian wiki for it, but couldn't seem to install the sta-dkms package the way it suggests because there is no siduction kernel candidate. So I installed the broadcom-sta-dkms package. Ceni th...

Chili amd64 - wireless/sound kernel modules

Hello roasters. I really like Chili and have had it installed on a Lenovo Thinkpad E135 for a while now, but haven't used it because I haven't worked out how to get the wifi to work. l spci: Broadcom Corporation BCM43228 802.11a/b/g/n and the error: nl80211 generic netlink not found .... failure to ...

Re: Let's Gangbang!

Ceni is boss. Which wm's will be omitted due to turdage? I've had problems with i3 unfortunately in the past on Debian releases so never really tried it. I could never fathom why, but would hope/expect it to be included.

I look forwards to Oyster.
