Re: Cog's gonna smoke a brisket tonight

well, got the repo back up.. it's a bit unconventional but actually works really good. I'll start adding more to it as the year progresses and hopefully get the components in place for a roast. deb http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17828753/bbq brisket main deb-src http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17828753/bbq brisket...

Re: Cog's gonna smoke a brisket tonight

@baconator Thanks for the info. I ended up cancelling my host because they failed to make my nameserver work after 3 weeks. What a load of BS. Anyways, this leads to some restructuring and a more interesting roast. I started over with "boner" since it's more of the base and going from ther...

Re: Cog's gonna smoke a brisket tonight

I've got the menus done, as well as the general layout. It's just gonna be a week or so of clicking on everything making sure it works. Also, there's been some heavy rearranging since my config needs to be modular and @tartan from crunchbang is too modular for bbq usage. The thing about FVWM is you ...

Re: Cog's gonna smoke a brisket tonight

@BLT Sounds good, I've got the amd64, i686, and i484 bases downloaded, but really don't feel like rolling them all since I'm an amd64 user. Basically, It's just Escargo/Saltimboca with some stuff uninstalled and my packages installed. I still need to upload the artwiz fonts, fvwm-starter's kit packa...

Re: Cog's gonna grill a Keilbasa tonight

@bacon will do man. I'm a damn good packager and config artist, but puting together the whole remaster deal I've never extended the effort. I'll let you look at the isos first since you are chief grillmeister.

Re: Cog's gonna grill a Keilbasa tonight

@meatlovers I'm working on those configs as we speak. I'm gonna transfer my current FVWM builds to my webhost over the holidays on a repo I'm setting up via reprepro, and gonna try to roast an ISO for each architecture. The reason for the FVWM builds is that the debian maintainer for FVWM fell off t...

Re: At the tobacconist

"Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times." LOL That's great. I did "again" as well 2 days ago. I'm dipping snuff now but packing it upper decker sweedish style. Nobody does that here in the Wild Wild West. It's a good w...

Re: Cog's gonna grill a Keilbasa tonight

There is a sequel to the original True Grit, It's called "Rooster Cogburn and The Lady" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073636/ It's pretty good except for that Hepburn. Those Hepburn chicks are nut jobs.

Re: Meet the meat!

Meat related.. I like to steam trout then remove the skin and bones, to make a trout salad sandwich. It's pretty tasty. You just add mayonaise, pear, relish, celery, etc. Whatever you like in meat salads. Then put it between two pieces of bread. There's nothing better to stash in your fishing vest n...
