Re: Favorite neckbeards through history
This one is a favourite here in the antipodes, still some debate as to whether he was a hero or just a murderous arsehole. Fits in with the black bearded one, I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly Though what amuses me is that someone thought it was a good idea to make a movie about him, a...

Re: IBM/Lenovo ThinkPads
Hey Rust, One of the banks here have a bunch of T400's that the travelling sales types use, the only issues we have had with them is a few cracked screens where the above clowns have let the laptop flop about in their cars, put crap on top of them etc. T series Lenovo's are mostly plenty tough and r...

Re: i3
Thanks,
I do really like using I3, does not matter which distro I am playing with at the time I always end up with I3 as my preferred wm.
The icons help to stop the status line from consuming the bar so I understand the popularity.

Must be a bit quick off the mark, sourceforge only offers boring to download from the link.
Being patient.

Re: OROBORUS: Kinky Koala (686PAE) Release News
Ha, excellent.
I saw your scrot of oroburos yesterday and went wandering off to find oroburox, sadly dead.
Rox was my file mangler of choice a few years back, about the first thing to install.:-)
Kinky Koala is a fine name, perfect for an old aussie.
Downloading now, thanks.

Thanks anyway, I find it soothing but will probably be bored in a bit and start the whole process over. :-)

Re: A Quiet Hello
Thanks for the welcome all. On the young blokes and girls, if you mention linux they immediately ask if you use *buntu. Seems Canonical's publicity machine works if nothing else. The company I work for does Dell, Lenovo and HP warranty service, once the techs realize they can quickly boot a fast non...
