Re: /dev/null

Just wanted to stop by and say hello, hope you guys are doing allright. I was a little surprised when I found a Wordpress tutorial at linuxbbq.org, but I'm glad this place is still kicking.

Re: Happy birthday, Kex

Muchas gracias. By the way, I'm still here, I promise :D Just a bit buried under all the work related shenanigans I'm experiencing for the first time. Last year it was exams, now it's this, but... I'm still glad it's not exams now. :)

Re: Stoner Rock

Some albums I've been listening to lately, all pretty great stuff IMO: Yuri Gagarin - At The Center Of All Infinity (instrumental) Does what it says on the tin - a 40 minute spacey jam. Duckhunters - Extinction Road These guys don't mess around, the whole thing sounds great. Lyrics kinda disturbing ...

Re: EVILWM: Kocsonya (586) Development Notes

Finally had some bloody time to install this (exam season yaaay), must say, it's a whole lot better than real life kocsonya :D Works great both live and installed in a VM, with guest additions. It's nice to play around with evilwm again, though I'm so rusty, I did have to RTFM on it, shame on me. Wi...

Re: Wish a spin...

@bacon: nice :D I did have a simple bar config, but I don't know where it is, probably lost, unless it's on an external hard drive somewhere. Mistake. But one of Drew's configs should be better anyway :) @rho: keksz is biscuit in Hungarian, that's why I can be piskotalino.. it does sound pretty good...

Re: /dev/null

Interesting to see that the iPhone gets use among grillers. I like Android, but not most non-stock launchers/skins, so I just use a vanilla Lollipop ROM. I have one homescreen with a clock+weather combo widget on it, and 2 launchers on each side of the menu button, that's it. Then again, I mostly ju...

Re: Random Internet Thread

^ I'd take it. I have a Xiaomi phone, and the only thing I'm missing from it is Gorilla Glass, otherwise it's pretty dank for the price, so judging from that, it could be good.
It's nice that it has an 1080p screen, but they could also start pushing IPS prices down, cause this TN shit sucks.

Re: Anime / Japanese series

Youtube should have some really bad quality versions. For watching online, I recommend kissanime. You can find pretty much anything there. Most stuff is available subbed or in English, if the dub exists. It has Kemonozume in 720p . There's also kissmanga for, well, manga, but titles with a lot of d...

Re: Random Internet Thread

I think I remember seeing it, but I thought it was a brainfart. Anyway, sounds kinda fake. Why would a coffee machine have sshd running? Or Linux for that matter... Was funny though :)

Re: Random Internet Thread

Using a text editor is elitist and lame, but writing a blog post about blasting them is cool? What the fuck, bro...
At least it reminded me of one of z3bra's blog posts: Java without Eclipse (and X).

Re: urxvt tabbedex not working

^^ You can steal someone's config from the tmux.conf thread, then learn how to create and delete tmux windows. That's two keybindings; enough to get started and not waste urxvt windows.

Is Atom considered bad btw? I've been using it for about two months now with some vim plugins for web development noobery, and I'm quite satisfied with it.
