Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography

I was still binging some Scott movies and I am disappointed by both Prometheus and Covenant though Prometheus was better. The last one is really shit and the former was visually very appealing and I enjoyed more the mystery that was not visible on screen than what was shown. Nobody will beat the ori...

Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography

I watched Scott's Kingdom of Heaven and I am not really impressed by the story, maybe only by the cinematography. Yes, I did the director's cut. I am a history buff so sometimes I give this stuff a chance but then because of the same reason I feel a lot is missing. In the end the whole plot behind s...

Re: musics, bitches

First of all, and you probably already know it, I love Led Zeppelin. I have every album. Then I never really followed the case regarding Stairway but I also think that this whole circus about it was bullshit and I do not even see a real similarity between the two songs. Though I agree with Slob that...

To change the subject, I got these from my better half and of course the chocolate for my birthday. My birthday was in July but I actually got them earlier in the lockdown. :P

Re: EDC, gadgets and gear stuff

Are running shoes coloured to induce epilepsy in their wearer? Also, what's up with the names? How the hell am I supposed to remember the difference between the Nike Air Zoom React Fellatio Turbo 36 vs the Adidas Ultra Super Yezza Madagascar Banana 4D?? This sentence made me laugh. It is true in ma...

Re: EDC, gadgets and gear stuff

Now the one thing I do not get personally are smart watches and fitness trackers. I find it interferes with the whole outdoor experience. I am regularly in the woods and the mountains and I do not use any of those tools. I only take my phone on bike rides for emergency reasons and the occasional pho...

Re: EDC, gadgets and gear stuff

Now it is getting really interesting here. :) Wux, my watch was 300 Euros. :P That is far from the Seiko but it sure is expensive. I have a Tissot but it is not mechanical therefor the price drop. Status symbols are not my kind but craftsmanship is another thing. But I also use a cheap and durable C...

Re: EDC, gadgets and gear stuff

English is not my primary language so take my "classy" in the sense that I find the watch very good looking in the same way you described it above. It has a kind of minimalism if I can say so and I have the same problem like you with skinny wrists so I detest big masculine watches that scream into y...

Re: EDC, gadgets and gear stuff

Well, if it comes from one of my favourite films you don't really need my opinion. :) That also and the watch is exceptional . If I had the money I would definitely go for it. Everything about it is just classy. Though I prefer non-metallic straps. The black there from the photos looks already good...

Re: Classic Rock (1969)

Sounds interesting. If the equipment is subpar the vinyl will sound shitty. It does not forgive like a CD, especially with dust on top of it and a bad record player. And of course you need good needles and speakers otherwise the vinyl will sound too weak compared to a CD and moderate equipment but I...
