Re: What distros are you using?
Fedora 19 with i3. I switched from Linux Mint because apt breaking so often was annoying me and ventured into the world of less user friendly stuff.

Summer spins missing parted?
Looks like parted isn't installed on the system, so bbqinstaller's parted option doesn't work.

Re: i3situation - alternative to i3status
Thanks for this wei2912 (great avatar by the way!), I thought I'd bloat a bit my i3 set-up so I gave it a try. I couldn't change the time format without getting an error though so I am back to a bar-free i3 but I might give this another try later. I followed the instructions on the source page so I...

Re: bbqshift
I modified this script to have limits to the gamma passed to xrandr, so that we won't get unexpected behaviour. Also did some refactoring. Note that the limits are exclusive (that means if you set MIN to 0, you can't set the gamma to 0 or below, and likewise for MAX). #!/bin/bash RR=1 GG=1 BB=1 LL=1...

Beware though, if they're English words or connected with you or the site, it won't be too hard to crack such a password.

^ never a problem :) btw, two notes. 1. you can embed those videos (if you like) by using the yt-tags enclosing the last part of the url (after the 'v=') 2. consider mentioning the artist and title in plain text as well, for those of use browsing with text-browsers. this is just a courtesy, you don...

Re: Random Password generator, with real words.
My method is to think of a humorous sentence, capitalize the words to be emphasized, take the front letters of each word + punctuation and use that to come up with a password. This sentence doesn't really make sense but it's used to generate a password so I guess it makes more sense than most people...
