Re: Hunty Birthday Howmie!

Hey guys, thanks for all of the birthday wishes.

Sorry that I've not been around recently - things have been pretty crazy with work.

I'm back in IRC and am visiting the forums during my lunch breaks. ;-)

Good luck on the exams, and I trust Titan and I will see you in EVE Online after? :)
Thanks, I am looking forward to getting them out of the way.

Awesome Slartie - love the beard and the history. :-)

I am going to have to delay mine a few days - I have an exam tomorrow and the day after, so no beer. :-(

Re: New Year's computer resolutions?

My New Year's PC resolution is to try writing some stuff in assembly language and to work on some new projects - I think it's time to have a break from writing desktop stuff and try something completely different and new. :-)

Re: howm

@ simgin - thanks, I searched Google for a spooky forest and that was the result. Palleterx and a bit of tweaking gave me the colour scheme. @machinebacon: I'll try that out when I get home, I want to move away from my blue colour scheme that I normally use. I think DWB would be best (sorry doubledu...

It's also possible to reduce the size of a binary by using "strip" - this will lead to less memory usage but it'll be harder to debug a problem.

Great work stark!. :-)

The BBQ's first hack-a-thon - Initial Commit

Now that we're agreed this is a good idea (we even have this nice new forum), it's time to decide upon when we want to do this. I have added all the weekends for the next couple of weeks - please post here if there are other dates you would like. It looks like the format is going to be 48 hours. Aga...
