Re: xserver-xorg fix (was: upgrading Bork64)

^ thanks for the link, I am reading it now.
You're right its a big page.

Do you have any advice for a stupid noob, who on one machine used dist-upgrade and thought "It's ok if these packages are removed, I can always apt-get them again later" :D
That stupid noob may or may not be myself :)

Re: Favourite film(s)

Some great suggestions here, already purchased *cough* Ghost in the shell and Akira.

One of my fav films ever is SLC Punk http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133189/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I think i've mentioned it before in another thread, but its well worth mentioning again.

Happy birthday to "the boss", and you can safely use this title without being sued as Bruce Springsteen apparently hates it.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a drunken birthday address, where you recite the mantra of alsa dominance to the forum faithful.

Re: TV series

I'll try the Prada's next I found that hot :) not sure why, I guess because she went from passive to __________. Totally agree, from vulnerable shaken up lassy to sassy bitch in an instant. I thought she was a rather dull and useless character at first but as the series went on I started to find he...

Re: Songs that get on your nerves

@dkeg - thanks, i will look into this soon.

compton has actually just made things worse, before i had no tearing but now i do have tearing with it. If after playing around i cannot get it to work it will be purged.

Re: [SOLVED] Trying to fix bumblebee on debian sid

Baconface, first i tried with just compton & It made the fonts and icons in programs "appear" sharper. No transparency however. Then i tried with compton -bcCGf -i 0.8 -e 0.8 --no-fading-openclose --sw-opti & This time there is tearing when scrolling down web pages in Iceweasel, bu...
