Re: Bad network day too..

I am sure it is the libgtk3 bug and another theme could indeed help, it has to be based on Gtk 3.8 like Numix for example. Good explanation by m-puzirew : As I expected, installing newest Adwaita Elements theme from gnome-look solved the problem, but it's just a beginning. I have to make total revis...

Re: configs and dotfiles

I use Dropbox after using a long time my external harddisk. It's just that I use Dropbox anyway to share stuff with my folks so why not using it for my configs and backups, too. The external is full btw. But I am thinking about putting all the important Linux stuff to Github, will see.

Re: Pure Sid users (wait with upgrade of Xfce 4.10)

xfce4-goodies will be removed if you upgrade. That means install all the panel applets manually. Seems the package is sent to /dev/null by Debian. Again, if you use the Siduction repos, no needs to worry, that package is anyway not in their repo and you maybe already installed the plugins by hand. I...

Re: libgtk-3-0

...think this affects GNOME packages (network-manager-gnome for example) mostly because I tried to break my biach and nothing bad happened. Yep, same here. I would say if you do not use many Gtk3 apps from upstream Gnome you are save to upgrade. I did it without issues, though the only Gtk3 app I u...

Pure Sid users (wait with upgrade of Xfce 4.10) [done]

Basically what the title suggests. There is a transition going on in Sid, from Xfce 4.8 to 4.10. If you use panel plugins, wait with the upgrade until the transition is over and all Xfce 4.10 components landed in Sid. If you do not need the Xfce4 goodies, proceed. It is just like taking it from Expe...
