Re: Post your Command line tricks
Here is a nice little script that I use to pull in all of the changes to my git repos. I might have 30 repos at a time in my ~/code folder, so this makes it much quicker. I found it on stack overflow or something. #!/bin/bash # store the current dir CUR_DIR=$(pwd) # Let the person running the script...

checkin out this font I saw on reddit. Dweep. In the neep family. Ha!, no matter what color scheme I come up with, I always come back to my favorite, albeit, slightly altered recently, hence the '3'. But you can see, I sure did test some out. gridiron.png You didn't catch me saying cheese. :( Looks...

Cheers guys!
The KBT doesn't get as much use as it deserves, it is a weird layout and a little too noisey for those late night grilling sessions. :(

I recently watched The Inbetweeners 2. I loved the series and the first movie, this one was just as good.

Re: show us your iron
I thought it would be a good idea for me to post my iron on here- I have looked through the whole thread and have enjoyed people's setups. My laptop is an Asus Zenbook UX32VD. It runs Linux beautifully and is nice and quick. I take it everywhere with me and it has great battery life so is useful for...

Re: Mechanical keyboard?
I thought it was about time that I uploaded my collection of boards. The first keyboard is a Leopold 210TP with Cherry MX blues and PBT key caps. This is a nice number pad that I keep on the left of my keyboard (as the last photo shows). The second keyboard is a KBT Pure Pro with PBT keys, detachabl...

Re: howm: A vim like WM
By the way, excellent documentation! Wish other projects would do it like this, too! (shamefully looks into the mirror) Thanks MB! I get tired of wasting time trying to work out how to use projects that have bad docs, so I thought I would save people the effort. ;) Awesome, thanks for making a remix!

Re: howm: A vim like WM
Hey everyone!
I have finally released version 0.1, you can get it from here: https://github.com/HarveyHunt/howm/releases/tag/0.1
Let me know if you have any problems with it. I have updated the documentation, so please let me know if it is all clear enough.

@harveyhunt: link me your source. EDIT: Found it. Harvey, I read a good portion, and this code is really, really good. I'm serious. It's beautiful. Well thought out, well optimized, bit shift and AND combinations that make my eyes hurt, it's glorious. I do hate the indentation but that's because I ...

That is definitely something that I would find helpful, this is my first bigger C project so I am not sure where to start with compliance. :-(Subsentient wrote:I might be helpful in sterilizing your code and making it standards-compliant. Thanks Subsentient, I am working on getting some more code done whilst I am on holiday, hopefully some more bug fixes soon. :-)Subsentient wrote:Now this seems rather nice actually. I might find a use for this the next time I build a 100MB Xorg/busybox distro.

The author has pushed some new changes that I think fix this though- I haven't tried them yet.

Re: The pet thread
I took my dog to an awesome nearby place called Brimham Rocks. We climbed pretty much all of the rocks there- when he couldn't quite jump high enough I had to push him up, he also jumped off of a rock onto me. He got so hot that he drank 2 bottles of water.
