Howdy, zak!
I for one am always interested in the use (and abuse) of other window managers! I can't wait for you to show us how awesome Awesome really can be. Hopefully it will motivate me to venture into that dark realm of the unknown! :)
Grill away, chef!

These guys are marketing a thumbdrive Linux os for older pc's or for pc's that have slowed down.
I can not find the actual distro that they're using, but it's run as a live os.

^^ I hear ya! I have a running U****u Unity on my first drive, but I hardly use it. I would like an actual menu, please?! It just seems, well, not-so-intuitive (can I use that?) "Draggy" comes to mind. Not as in "Fabulously Feminine Attired", more like "Click, and then....&q...

Re: Which DE/WM do you like least? ;)
Well, I am guessing that my awesome E17 scrot a while back failed to change any minds, lols! I had to pick razorqt because no matter how I set it up, at some point I will never fail to break it :)) E17/19 usually comes out the same, but I have to work a little harder to achieve breakage (maybe 15% m...

Re: *SOLVED* Dkeger error and how to spectrwm scrot
Thanks, guys! Everything is working! And this is great! Turn it on, and I got my emails and news on one page, general web browsing on another, file manager on another, musics on another, terms ready to rock on another, AWESOME! :) I am very happy with this! :) You need a "10" button on you...

*SOLVED* Dkeger error and how to spectrwm scrot
I used dkeger to change my xcolors. Here is the output: Copying colorbar to /home/chuck/.Xresources_colors xrdb: colon missing on line 20, ignoring line Is this a problem that needs fixing? Where would I go to fix this "xrdb"? And another boneheaded question: In looking up how to activate ...

Re: nanorc
I use nano almost exclusively because I find it pretty easy to work with. I don't use emacs or vim (still a long way out from figuring what emacs even is, lols). With most of the config files I work on it tends to be just right for me :) I might take this little config around the block a few times! ...
