Very st...

Re: Wilderness!
My pack changes depending on where I go. If I go trekking in the winter time, I'll usually add another couple of sources of fire, but so far the firesteel has yet to fail on me. And hell, there's probably at least 4 lighters somewhere in the pack anyway. And I do bring along basic fishing tackle as...

Welcome Darry, you sound like a nice fella. Bork is indeed a sweet release, perhaps it was my comment on the release thread that swayed you to the borkside :) There is another kiwi here somewhere, should you feel the need to discuss...whatever kiwis discuss... There's a meatspace page too, to show ...

Re: Distros of interest
I know of Dima Krasner as a Puppy Linux developer mainly doing Debian versions of Puppy Linux - Dpups. So he has plenty of experience the RLSD distro rose out of the desire to build a GTK1 Puppy because of the desire to a modern kernel based version of Puppy but using GTK1 based apps that would mean...

Re: TV series
I firmly believe that the manatees responsible for Family Guy also wrote Lost. (In other words, I think the "writers" just made shit up from week to week and laughed all the way to the bank.) "Lost" writer's meeting, as imagined by pidsley: Gretchen: "what should we do this...

Re: TV series
Yeah watched Lost first couple of seasons which very promising but I lost interest in it after that. I did enjoy the performance though of Michael Emerson who played Benjamin Linus who is of course in person of interest. Very good at quirky performances.
