CPU usage, if it is Caja, then do this:

ln -s $HOME/.cache/thumbnails $HOME/.thumbnails
If you have more problems like this:

If I remember I had an update in LightDM and even took the new conf from the dev when asked, worked, though that was a bit longer ago and has not to be related.
