Re: Cycling

Vintage steel road bike for me, 1983 Trek 760 (third from top-of-the-line model, that year). Mine is almost entirely stock, except the hubs and pedals. Even the seat is original. Suntour Superb component group, which was considered "the poor man's Campagnolo" back in the day. It's my daily...

Re: RE:ROADMAP:2016 Releases Discussion

Most distros get MORE bloated over time, here at the grill they get LESS bloated. There aren't many others that can say this.

Re: Favorite browser

^ The release cycle seems the same as Iceweasel (currently 38.6.0). In my tests it was the same as FF/Iceweasel, but then I don't have anything like TweetDeck going on.

Re: Linux News

^ Yes, there was discussion of changing the eye-cancer that is the xscreensaver splash screen, etc., but the artist specifically asked in the docs not to do so. Someone on Munch had come up with a nicer one (perhaps it was #! themed, too?)

Re: Favorite browser

^ IceCat seems pretty decent, basically FF/Iceweasel with FSF add-ons: LibreJS, Https-Everywhere, SpyBlock, etc. Interface/functionality indistinguishable from FF/Iceweasel.

Re: TV series

I tried to watch Mad Men, one episode, when it first came out. I couldn't get into it. I think for some, it's a nostalgia thing, given the time period in the series.
