Public service announcement: If you're using DSA keys and upgraded to OpenSSH 7.x, you have to manually enable use of ssh-dss. It's been my experience with Debian for a while that sometimes pressing the button does nothing and sometimes causes the light to blink without doing anything useful... Even without the disk mounted, and while out of all /dev working directories, eject has always been there for me in my time of need...
