Re: colr

^ Apologies, for the misstatement. The thing is I have very messy configs, ( even the color files have some commented out colors ) so this works for me. I hope this doesn't seem to be too offensive or aggressive just expressing how I handle my messy configs :)

Re: dunst (on Bork!)

I remember by default i3 always automatically tiles floating clients unless you add window rules for them, for example I remember when I used to use xfce4-notifyd, it tiled unless i had a similar snippet in the i3config: for_window [class="xfce4-notify"] floating enable Find the class of a...

Re: colr

So dkeg , as you mentioned you wanted a cleaner version of colr, i *ripped off* code from z3bra's cdump and whipped two versions of the function style2 and it pulls the colors from `xrdb -query` so saves you editing the script everytime you change colors :) EDIT: Remove seq. Thanks pidsley :D Withou...

^ Thanks :) I'm still curious if everyone is finding the new letterspace and alignment useful or annoying.

Re: Procon - the Systemd of iconic fonts

^ Sure, Thanks for your feedback ;) You can request additional glyphs and i'll see if I can draw them :)

UPDATE: Changed the name and the repo due to the existence of a font with a similar name ( oh yeah that too is a bitmap font ) Added 65 new glyphs and modified and replaced some existing ones.

^ Woah, Thanks for the brief explanation. Weirdly enough, all the writes and modification that I have done on the data partition are owned by the regular user.

Re: stark

^ Awesome, Thanks again guys ! I have just this one question regarding permissions as I don't fully understand how they are handled or work. When I use sudo to mount a device or partition, will the permissions get messed up when I write to it ? If not when do permissions get messed up ? Apologies fo...

Re: stark

Thanks so much everyone ! I used to do it the fstab way but then I noticed I don't always need the data partition hence the bloat. Looks like I need to compile both gnutils and mountpy from source, Debian +1 :D

Siji - the Systemd of iconic fonts

So I have been working on a somewhat new font, started as adding glyphs to stlarch then I had to fix the whole thing. It's still no where near perfect and will require more effort and time which I will invest when I can, until then Please feel free to provide feedback, criticsm or request any new gl...

Re: stark

^ For general purposes, I use coreutils and ranger, when I need to mount the data partition, I just launch thunar and select the partition under Devices and exit, after that i access it from the terminal.

Rox filer is a nice fm indeed, used it in the puppylinux days :)

Re: stark

^ ACYL's scripts are written in python2 ( change the shebang or call the scripts with python2 ) and needs glade which needs gtk3, took me a while to figure that out. The funny thing is, I kept thunar and the gvfs hell only to ensure that the permissions don't get messed up and it worked for months u...
