Toshiba T1910, probably from 1994. Damned nice keyboard and display. The laptop has been used for programming pacemakers in a hospital. We rescued it for 1 Euro.

Re: Lightweight Linux distros
thanks for the link. i never really thought #! was lightweight, maybe design wise it looked light, but in terms of memory usage it was as heavy as the default distribution it ran on. I'd probably take Arch as a lightweight base (by default it is). An OOTB solution other than my BBQ roast would be An...

Thing is I never used Twitter and never understood the concept of it, at least not for my personal use. Cool, and I always thought I'm the only person in the world who has no idea what 'twitter' is about - seriously :) Just wanted to make Manu happy, so there I am. At least there's an emacs fronten...

I suppose (not tested with sysvinit) that only OpenRC writes something there, and clears /run after reboot.
Code: Select all

^ thanks guys. Totally fell in love with exwm . If you want to build it from ELPA, get xelb and exwm (optionally" exwm-x). For convenience, also grab dmenu from there (it's assigned to M-d and is even more clever than suckless' dmenu, because it knows when to open terminal apps in a terminal). ...

tmux 2.3 (scrot is from experimental) has some nice new features. Now you can make it look like a mix of dvtm and screen :D
