This script helped me solve some transfer speed issues I had with my FAT32 usb. I based mountnetware on this one. #!/bin/sh # # Script to properly mount USB FAT16/32. # # I only use one USB key at the time, so the script # umounts everything in /media/usb* on purpose. # It is possible to specify a d...

I wrote this little script to help me properly mount my Samsung YP-R1. A weird device, it has different partitions in it but I can transfer both on and from it using this script. I usually use this script first, and then go with Pidsley's script to fill the mp3 reader. #!/bin/sh # # Script to proper...

Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography
TRON: cult classic, I love it. TRON LEGACY: oh dear what a mess. It totally forgets the spirit of the first movie. Add plenty of horrible action scenes and really poor acting and you got yourself a real dumb movie. Plus, after Lebowski, it seems to me that Bridges when acting can't escape that chara...

^ if you want to check that Ellington's suite, be sure to listen to the original live recording at Carnegie Hall, 1943. There are later versions, but that one (and the whole concert) is just outstanding.

I really, really love Duke Ellington. I haven't listened to everything he did in his career, it'll take me years to do that. "Black, Brown and Beige" is one of those recordings I usually mention when somebody asks me why I like jazz music.
