Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography

SNOWPIERCER: been waiting for this one for quite a long. One of my favorite directors approaching something different (a comic book). Hopes were really high. It turns out to be his weakest effort, poor in script and characters, almost any trace of his style. Plus, boring, plain boring.

Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography

SUPERSIZE ME: missed it when it came out years ago. Scary. CITIZEN X: watched only because it has RONIN's director of the photography doing the same job here (yep, I'm that nerd, I know). Pretty boring, though I really like it when Westen actors play Russian guys that talks English with fake Russian...

Well, I'm on literary theory, I took a course on film criticism a couple of years ago. I'll give that website a look, thanks for sharing.

Re: Have you tried turning it off and on again?

^ speaking of help, just finished with a customer. Customer: "I want Arch Linux, I hate Windows 8. But let me tell you this: I've been a MacBook user for a while and I plan to go back to it sooner or later." Me: "Ok, so what do we do? We install Arch Linux or not?" [in my kindest...

Re: Movies, Flicks, Films, Videos, cinematography

Some of my recent views: BAG IT / FOOD, INC / EARTHLINGS: three interesting documentaries, they taught me really a lot. CASABLANCA: yep, the old classic. Never watched it before, shame on me. After 70 years, it still is a very great movie. DEJA VU: despite what many critics say about Tony Scott (esp...

Also it explores how often so-called experts, without doing proper research, misunderstood traditional music and live registrations. I already brought it back to the library. It is plagued by t...
