I'm running Elitist live and very impressed. Seems to boot up amazingly fast, a very complete but not excessive list of apps, and very, very handsome. I immediately think of installing it on a partition of my girlfriend's machine. Well done. Thank you. It's late so haven't had much time to play arou...

Re: Screenshots

I reckons 'Vegan' is a nice name for a release. A no blo....I mean no meat one. I guess that's what Boner is. Elitist is a good one too- of course we are elitist, and proud of it.

Re: Mp3 music doesn't play

Mocp, and mpg23 are already installed. Typing each of them into a terminal or alt+f3 will get them started. Otherwise use: upd then: ins mplayer to install, for example, mplayer. Just change mplayer to which of them you want to install. To learn how to use apt-get look at the wiki: http://linuxbbq.o...

Re: Screenshots

Will Spatula be finding its way into the repo soon? I'm about to run Elitist live to have a go and check out the other condiments. No rush, of course, sure you have bigger fish to fry. :)

Re: FSF Petition against "Secure" Boot

Not sure if secureboot is the cries of a dying dog still reluctant to share its food or, as presented, a security device.

^ I do like the default styling of cinnammon and gnome shell. You have done a good job making them look nicer, Mr. Bacon. :) Is this Gammon?

Fatmac you are a very knowledgeable user it seems generally. Don't be shy if you want to contribute to the wiki. It would be very welcome and together we all develop it and help each other out.

Re: /usr/share/themes/

Yeah. Its a veggie/vegan bbq- all padding made minimal, scroll bars reduced, troughs slimmed, all borders removed, no windecs, titlebars. Themerc and gtrk both there. I think I've ulpoaded the right ones for the scrot. Basically its what I prefer for small screens, but I like this veggie non-bloated...
