Haven't tried SCIM, always used iBus. Thanks for the tip about Google Input Tools, I'll check it out.

Yeah, iBus is getting a pain.
On sid ibus-pinyin doesn't work, I have to use ibus-libpinyin (as the ArchWiki suggests). Have to try fcitx.

New entry. I already told you many times I opened a little school with my wife. It's been a year now since the day we started, and the amount of work and paper keeps increasing. Did it today: resizing partitions (shrinking /home, more space for /) without any care whatsoever about the fact that I had still 4hrs of work to do. It took gparted 3 and half hours to finish all that, plus e2fsck and resize2fs to notify my system that now / is bigger. Well, still 20 minutes before...
