Re: initramsfs-tools #762870

On antiX-Sid, initramfs-tools 0.117 (the debian one) did not break. I have done several update-initramfs since. Apparently you need busybox on your system.

Re: Gtk apps crashing (version 3.13/3.14)

I can confirm this shittiness when running (some) gtk2 apps on antiX eg spacefm gives the mutex error but gftp doesn't.

Re: What distros are you using?

No surprises what I use. antiX on my main 64 bit desktop (to be precise antiX-base-maintenance Edelweißpiraten 01 October 2012). This is running the Sid repos and the latest 3.15.2 antiX kernel. antiX on the partners PIII - running Testing and a 3.14 kernel. antiX on the old Dell - upgraded from ant...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2014

Yes it was a good game to watch. Ghana had a great chance to win it right at the end with the 3 on 2 break, but the pass was aweful. I had predicted Ghana to qualify from this group, so I hope Portugal beat the USA, then Germany beat the USA and Ghana beat Portugal. Still, Ghana have lasted longer t...

Re: Which DE/WM do you like least? ;)

I dislike lxde. if you are going to use a desktop manager at least integrate it well. Every time I have tried lxde I think 'wtf is this. I can choose a wm, pimping it up a bit with little effort and it does a better job'

Fri: Brasil - Croatia 4 : 1 Sat: Mexico - Cameroon 1 : 1 Spain - Netherlands 1 : 0 Chile - Australia 2 : 0 Brazil or Argentina to win it. Best European hope - Germany. England - no chance. Greece - will bore everyone to sleep. An African team will make it to the semis.
