Re: The LinuxBBQ Extrawurst (Wish-A-Spin)

^ bones, do you have a good fvwm config, or can you create one? I think the thing that has stopped us from doing anything with fvwm so far is how difficult it is to configure. That's the cool thing about Crystal vs. stock fvwm: preconfigured sexiness! Check out the screenies: http://home.gna.org/fv...

Re: Release me!

I say towo (3.10-0). What, really, are the advantages of liquorix for Trollinger? I'm not really knowledgeable about the benefits of liquorix vs. stock, etc. kernels, but I offer this: http://slackermedia.info/html/kernel.html Traditionally, this has not been the main focus of the Linux kernel. Ever...

Re: The LinuxBBQ Extrawurst (Wish-A-Spin)

Hmm, gonna have to put some thought into this, as everything I might want to try has already been covered pretty well. Give me a couple of days, I'm headed out to the woods for the weekend.

Received the Netgear-WGR614, set up, and all is well. Nice solid, fast connection.

Yup, that's been my experience, as well. They have done a really good job. PC-BSD is pretty sweet, too.

Re: Screenshots

Now that I'm done with Gnome, I think this is my next project: This is running from the live CD, but I'm about to install it. Nice. I also played around with the (LXDE) live CD on my T61, but I couldn't get the mofo to recognize my wireless, and was feeling too lazy to delve into BSD-land, so the e...

Fuck yeah! dkeg, I suspect we listened to a lot of the same stuff, punk and hardcore-wise. I was a skater, myself, but finally gave up due to bodily damage. I've been toying with the idea of getting a longboard to bomb hills, though.

My hometown boys, Poison Idea. Kings of Punk, so not really metal, but with this album they introduced some very metal shit.

Re: Screenshots

I am now oficially tired of GNOME, and I am back on spectrwm in my 1.2G Ubuntu netinstall. :-) It doesn't take long, does it? Am I the only one that wonders WTF the deal is with font rendering in Gnome 3? In my (limited) experimentation with it, the fonts looked shitty no matter what I did. Of cour...
