Re: The Netherlands

Not 100% Dutch (Jack Parow is from South Africa) but still worth to mention. De Kraaien are from The Hague, the Dutch Music capital. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-q4xQkL4Liw

Re: Your music equipment

Wux, my son is playing an electic guitar but it's also a fine replacement for his pc-speakerset too :P But no worries.. he likes old rock and metal (Deep Purple, Iron Maiden..). So a tube amplifier is perfect and a neighbour who isn't much at home works too :)

Re: Your music equipment

A couple of day ago I arranged a new toy for my son. It's a good thing we lived in the countryside of the Netherlands ;) The picture is crappy, but it's a Dynacord Eminent II amplifier (partial transistor and the better half are EL34 tubes).

Dual is my childhood :) Back in the day I had two dual 1224 record players, those were really nice.

Re: Favourite Beers

I prefer German and Belgium beer. Oettinger is easily available in the Netherlands (LIDL). But my favourite is Haake Beck https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haake-Beck Belgium beers is more difficult. Duvel is perhaps one of the most famous. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duvel_Moortgat_Brewery Leffe (tri...

^ A nice one. It's slackware-based and FvwM, so I believe there are far worser choices than that :) I love a minimal destop but it makes me smile that some guys can do amazing things with 'just' a Window Manager.

Re: good morning, good night

^ Sounds like an excellent weekend Bones. Overhere the weather isn't bad. Lot's of sun and they're expecting 27°C. The runnerbeans are smiling at me, so I guess it's time to plant them. Coincidence does not exist, the beans are German and in the Netherlands we called them 'Spekbonen' which literally...

^^ In Dutch it is pretty much the same as in Germany.

Pollen allergy sucks :S (Yep I'm having it too). I don't know if the Aldi in Germany sells some medical stuff, but Certizin(e) works for me. (In meinem Dorf ist die apotheke nicht immer geöffnet und ich hab' keinen bock auf warten).

Good morning grillers,
I was supposed to do something in the garden.
Mowing the lawm, and planting some potatoes.
I think this is not gonna happen...
