Re: Gangbang window manager support
Should I post this here. Finally trying it out. Very nice. Listening to radio, browsing the web and watching TV. Somebody also experiencing that Fluxbox does not start? Changed the background in CWM with xsetroot, that WM is neat. Afterstep is plain ugly. :D Though, seems my rig cannot handle the pl...

Re: Distortion Pedal (Metal Corner)
I am not anymore into the hard things but I also grew up with Metal. Who did not? Today I still listen to my Hard Rock/Prog Rock/Classic Rock favorites. One of my first tapes was a Metallica mix, I think from the so called "Black Album" mixed with other stuff. But to post something, I am s...

I guess Germany is a Mac Baren country like the US is for Capt. Black, the main stream of course. But sure Jules, Golden Sliced and Scottish Flake are always in the rotation. ;) You know the good ones.

Re: At the tobacconist
True Bacon. Maybe it is the sunny weather but I enjoy lately Flakes almost exclusively, pure Virginias like Capstan Gold Navy Cut but also VaPers and I love Peterson University Flake but the tin of this one has to get older, before it burns the tongue. I love Flakes, they can age and they do not los...

The last chance before the monsoon takes you away and just leaves us with 52 WMs. :Dmachinebacon wrote:Please check if you find something is missing, it's the last chance :)
The list is impressive, no idea if something is missing but Pid will know it. Emacs and vim sounds good, always compatible with those WMs.

Now that's crazy. I think Bacon just lost his mind. And Pidsley is even motivating him. This will end badly. :D But it will make us famous.

Re: xfce4 64bit gives failed to mount not authorized to perf
If you e.g. have LighDM installed as your display manager, it will handle the automounting, if not, you are responsible for it even if you say that you want automounting from the Xfce disk preferences.

^ Exactly. I think the same. And 3.2 is LTS used in Debian Wheezy and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS e.g. I think.

Not necessarily but who knows. Debian uses very generic kernels not always optimized for the desktop.Potatohead wrote:Is this a Debian-specific thing?
