Re: my mums website what I made

It's OK now. I like that from the start it is clear what the website is about. Could perhaps even be clearer. " We are a family run business, looking after your horse, like our own." Alright, but is family run the most important part? I think HORSE should be central. Also, I'd like to see ...

Colin - need some help to get going with bspwm

bspwm seems like a great windowmanager and I am grateful to find it here on the grill :-) However, I have troubles in working with it and learning the beast. This may be an incredible n00b thing, but I can't find the key bindings....and keybindings are essential in a keyboard driven windowmanager. A...

Colin - Musca won't start

Hi all, I'm running Colin from a USB stick. Musca won't start, when clicked in the wmchooser you end up in a tty. When I log in (user bbq, paassword bbq) and type startx, ICEWM starts (??)

Am I doing something wrong?

"There's the other aspect of climate that a skinny body is better for dealing with heat (more surface area), while a compact round shape is better for cold." Yep! It's OK to derail on this forum, right? :) A friend works in the "personnel department" and he has a simple rule for...

Re: Ergonomic keyboards

Hi, one of my fave topics. There is the issue of mechanics (physical keyboard quality) and that of the layout. Layouts are free :-) I like Colemak. The least you can do is remap some lesser and some more used keys. Candidate #1 is a swap of CapsLock (useless key in good position) and BackSpace (much...

@Cloony - my brother was in a high school exchange program, Holland -USA. Two girls came over to us, they complained about hunger & small portions all of the time, when they went out eating... I am very much a free market guy, in that sense I am more rightwing than many Europeans, but at the sam...
