Re: TV series
Well how about that. I can't say Danes much care for that show. The amount of debate about the production of that abomination is the stuff of legends. :)

Re: TV series
I usually steer clear of Danish TV series, but I recently decided to give "Borgen" a go. Well I sort of, kind of, happened to binge watch all three seasons.

Re: Favorite programming language(s)
I guess I'd pick C as my top choice, but really I like most languages. They just have to be sane for the task I'm doing. So depending on the job I'd go for any number of languages. Perl is another favourite. It's the perfect fit for a lot of parsing (duh!) tasks, and hell, just about anything can be...

We all know that StackExchange has an answer for everything, right? Sure we do. Wouldn't it be nice if someone made an .el that used the StackExchange API, and served up the site inside emacs? https://github.com/vermiculus/sx.el/ Voila... edit: fuck it .. gekko shared this nugget ... like .. @chef - Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, I'd say. The English dub is great, but if you can deal with subtitling, you can check the series out right on YouTube.

Dr_Chroot: Whenever I'm playing a game, I usually have some movie or show running on the other monitor. I delete stuff once I've seen it, so I have a failing hope that the HDD will be empty at some point. Fat chance.

SSD 1 = OS
SSD 2 = Games (Windows)
HDD 1 = Movies and TV Shows (obviously all legal)
HDD 2 = Various
You don't download porn anymore. You just open redtube, pornhub, xvideos or do a google search without a content filter :)

Re: Wilderness!
My pack changes depending on where I go. If I go trekking in the winter time, I'll usually add another couple of sources of fire, but so far the firesteel has yet to fail on me. And hell, there's probably at least 4 lighters somewhere in the pack anyway. And I do bring along basic fishing tackle as ...

Re: Wilderness!
Well it really depends on where I'm going, but if we're talking a wilderness trek and not an emergency thing, here's my normal pack: - Paper money, a CC, drivers license/passport/insurance card. - First aid kit with all the usual including over the counter painkillers and anti-inflammatories, muscle...

Re: URxvt Config
Apart from .Xdefaults being deprecated, everything looks fine. Other than that, the only culprit I can point to, is your gfx driver. In case of ATI/NVI the opensource and binary blob drivers can give issues version to version. If you're using the binary blob, try switching to the OSS version and vic...

Thanks. I'm not really sure when and how it happens. I think tty-clock and htop somehow simply ignore urxvt transparency.
