A cross between Blues and Zydeco. Very good, IMHO.

Re: Blues

This just popped into my head, yesterday. It was one of my favorites from the 60's. More soul than blues, but it's related to blues:

Re: The Great NC BBQ Map

Yum!

But don't let them fool you. BBQ is just as good in most of the other southeastern states, wherever hickory wood is available. Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, etc.

Two of my all-time favorites, BB King and Ray Charles, together. I never knew about this.

I'm sure I will get into trouble for this, but I like it. Roy Clark could neither read nor write a note of music, but boy, could he play!

Re: BOOK! (Hardcopy edition)

Yeah, it is very complicated. The overarching story seems to be kings fighting over who should be king (and of what country), and also dukes and such who plotted to become kings.

Re: photography

Yes, beautiful place and photos, Kex. My son recently got a new Nikon DSLR, a D3300. It is an entry-level camera, but it takes great pics. He says he wants me to play with it, but he's always using it. Here's a photo he took that I really like: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-C17bkjO6wQU/VDDG_o_s...
