Thanks. It's only because dkeg, really. I have no abilities of my own. Just look at some of my earlier scrots from i3 and you will know what I mean :)

Re: GA-KO scrot
Oh I've played around with Amiga's plenty, but found them thoroughly underwhelming compared to a 80286 12MHz with an Adlib sound card and a Paradise VGA card :)

Looking good!
It's great to see someone still using a tracker. Any chance I could have a listen to some of your creations?

Re: jwm
@bones, I went through the entire dkeg color theme collection and landed on sunlight in the end. The dark tones might be a bit too much on these strained eyes of mine, but I'm giving it a few weeks. Jwm is a delightful piece of kit. Thanks dkeg. I really have no sense of visual style, so I have to r...

Re: Emacs tips and tricks
Perhaps you're new to Emacs, or you find the keybindings a forbidding place that keeps you from ever diving in. There's help at your fingertips. Apart from going through the Emacs Tutorial ("C-h t" which means press and hold down the CTRL key and pressing h, releasing the key and pressing ...

The book was a great read. I had no idea they made it into a series. I'll have to check it out.

Re: jwm
I was feeling a bit Anorexic(tm), and I couldn't sleep. So I decided to play around with jwm and some dkeg'y colors. As I hadn't given jwm a fair shake before and really wanted to fall asleep, my addled mind thought some documentation reading and wm tweaking would be just the ticket. Now it's 6 in t...

Re: Emacs tips and tricks
Yeah, that should work. Unless of course you're using a nightly build?
Edit: It works on 24.4.1 and 24.5. Haven't tried the latest source.

Re: i3
This thread hasn't been touched in a while. That's a shame.
Just got everything re-installed on my laptop. The screen res is shit, the wireless is a piece of shit, but i3 makes everything better.
