[FIXED] console_colors

Unread post by ChefIronBelly » Mon Feb 10, 2014 4:30 pm

Not sure if this is a bug or a design feature :)

But if we added the console_colors directory to /etc/skel it would work automagically for new users. I stumbled on this after bacon told me to run dkeger. To fix now is just copy the directory over from bbq user and chown it.

Maybe they could go in /usr/share/xcolors to be available to all users (like wallpapers)? I don't think they are something users will change, just use. If users want local copies of some, they can copy them from /usr/share. Just my opinion, of cource.

Thank you. I know you posted this as a Spring 2014 bug (so you're thinking, duh pidsley, I said Spring 2014), but there are four other releases based on the Spring 2014 iso, and this helps make sure we are talking about the original and not one of the respins.
