^ Are you on a necrobumping tour Chef? :D
I am running Debian Testing, Stable and just started with a super bloated Fedora laptop, as a learning vehicle. But that's on half the lappy, the rest of it is reserved for Alpine. So this machine is purely for learning about industry tools :D
The bit i have started to like is DNF, it's very intuitive and getting more and more powerful by the month. Cool tool :)

LinuxBBQ encourages "necrobumping", probably we are the only forums on the world where you do not get bitched at for bringing an old discussion or thread to the top again.

^ And that is one of the few reasons why the LinuxBBQ community is so great.

Running Slackware full-time on my desktop and laptop. Just put Space Oddity on the laptop though and looking to switch to that full time. I forgot how beautiful auto-dependency resolution was.

Old threads are like old friends, nice to see them from time to time. Running Stable/Unstable/Debian/BBQ/W7 :)

Let me play with Fedora. It was next on my list. How cool it is to have some unused machines.

Right now I have openbsd on the laptop, and q4os (delian-based with trinity DE) on the desktop. Gonna make a change on the desktop soon, probably do some more 9front exploration.

^ How is q4os, and is it a "general allrounder", family pc etc?

Wow, 9times seems cool.
I'll just link to them, for the people that haven't seen 9times page yet.

One of their old release names:
“9FRONT NUCLEAR WINTER OF CODE” (2015/03/02)

And here is the newest release with picture :D

Lots of funky original stuff on that website.

Thanks for sharing Bones, me gusta.

For me, I have been playing with both Arch + XFCE + Wine (Photoshop, MS Office, and all that terrible stuff) and a Greatest Hits install w/ FVWM, Seamonkey, XMMS, etc.

9front looks awesome, I might have to try it out!

Yes, q4os is nice, and light on its feet and resources, plus you get kde 3 nostalgia. Very good all around and family pc.

At this point only Debian (Sid and jessie) on metal. Planing to add a BSD. Virtual, anything that makes me curious.

Added a Crux partition and a Vanilla Sid yesterday. That goes along with BBQ Greatest Hits, Slackware and BBQ Kocsonya :) (I heard of sex and food)

As of today: Debian Jessie, Fedora 23, LinuxBBQ Kermacs, Debian Sid, Arch and Ubuntu netinstall. I think that sums it up.

^How do you find Fedora 23? Is it work or all rounder, dev etc?
I am running it too, just struggling on which DE to use, I know luxury problems :)
Tbh, I really like it.

^ It's my media server: MATE, Transmission and Universal Media Server to stream over to the PS3. Little else. Gets updated every week, and stays on 24/7. Just like to keep MATE around, but it's a PC I rarely touch.

^ Nice, I am using a very tweaked Gnome shell, well it looks like Mate and Xfce now, but it is a bit heavy on the RAM :)
Did think of Mate, actually. Are you using all the repos, Rawhide, testing etc?
Tbh I thought that my updates would crash without looking at warnings, due to I have activated all the repos. But it is stable as a rock (and heavy as one ;).

I use rpmfusion, but that's about it. It's not that tweaked, really, I just keep it as it is as long as it streams my precious films.

^ Well that is it's job, perfect.
I just removed Shell, and now I am on Mate as well, very content indeed. But I think I might use this full time. Never thought this would happen :)
