Re: BBQ Democrat - File Manager
been using beesoft commander and qtfm due to playing with razor-qt
but no-one wants them - yet
beesoft is closer to my standby xfe which i use mostly
but also no-one wants
of the big guys i think spacefm is/going to be a goody
which i pick before pcmanfm or thunar

no worries bacon
thats what the "other" check box is for
and your right about rox
its just a pain to get all set up
but i guess if you use it you know how to do what you like
or keep configs somewhere

Still Thunar. :)
Re: BBQ Democrat - File Manager
pcmanfm. It's light, has tabs, and has fewer dependencies than Thunar.
I've been hearing that spacefm is "going to be great" for a long time now. I tried it, and I really don't get the hype.
I'm probably not the best person to ask -- I almost always use coreutils.

It's close between pcmanfm and thunar but I'll go with pcmanfm. Dolphin is great when I use KDE though.
Re: BBQ Democrat - File Manager
pcmanfm here, too. Who needs more ? And who gets the job done with less ?
Avatars are bloat

Okay. But apart from coreutils and SpaceFM and RoxFiler and maybe QtFM: WHO GETS THE JOB DONE WITH LESS ?

I picked caja, although I find it pushes the cpus to max doing nothing, so don't listen to me
Re: BBQ Democrat - File Manager
Thunar ... because I feel good :-)

Spacefm, how can you not like double panes? Pcmanfm is another favorite of mine besides midnight commander or ranger
