Scrot, or it didn't happen. I know it looks like a previous one of mine, but this is Gentoo and I did a quick setup with some tools I'm already pretty used to just to show off how proud I am of this compiling day.

Hey Gekko, what hardware did you put Gentoo on? I see Core2 Duo T6400... is it on a ThinkPad? Wondering whether a Gentoo/cwm compile on my T61 is a good idea or not...

:D give it a try. It sure takes A LOT to upgrade the system the first time and to compile some of the heavier stuff, but in the end it all depends on what you need it for (as usual).

@gekkop nah i never been that smart, i compile my crux kernel using my custom kernel config from arch ( modprobed-db, ditched arch recently in favor of crux ) been using the same trick on my gentoo install too
