I am going to have to print that off and tape it to my thinkpad :D That was more or less my New Year's Resolution: learn why things work rather just being content that they do. This has meant a lot more reading the man pages (or should they be called 'grow a pair and read me' pages?) and finding out that hsetroot can do even cooler things than blurring (like inverting the colors on a really cool mountain picture that looks like Southern Wyoming.)

Yeah, I probably should drop by #linuxbbq from time to time, but I tend to be in a hurry (I usually spend 2-5 minutes at a time on weechat before going back to whatever) and I feel bad not sticking around to see what the weather is like in Finland. One a side note, the land of Norse metal and nude saunas would be a glorious one to visit one day, especially with their equally awesome viking/post-man that is the originator of the Valhalla IP-addresses on the BBQ logs ;)

yeah, my conky is nice and minimal. it just shows me what i need to know: track playing, wifi, storage, cpu and ram. it is all at a glance at the top of my screen all the time. on the bottom right there is time and date, and that's it.

Thanks a bunch. Anyone know where the line is to change the focus window border color? It's always the same no matter what xcolors I use.

Another experimental buildroot system. This one is 64 bit because I'm adding the CRUX package tools and some packages.
Needs more work, so it should keep me busy for a while. I am *not* planning to release it.

It's just my usual tamsyn, but it does look better than usual. Maybe it's the machine -- I don't usually post scrots from that box. Or some other variable.
