This thread hasn't been touched in a while. That's a shame.
Just got everything re-installed on my laptop. The screen res is shit, the wireless is a piece of shit, but i3 makes everything better.

Here's one of my usual i3 workspaces with termite+tmux.
Vimperator is usually on workspace 2, and other things after that.
I guess I need to get better at using i3 for the tiling, but this setup has been working for me overall for a year or so...

New to the BBQ. Tried BREAK!, Cream, Lunchtime, and VIolator. i3wm is defintiely my favorite tiling WM so far. This screen is on a Dell INSPIRONmini from around 2008-ish.

^ not a great deal of point using a tiler as a stacker? Looks ok, not a patch on our dkeg... :)
I didn't actually see any i3 confs in xero's github, i guess he does somewhere.
