I'll start this one.
This is still a work in progress for the PCs here in my school. They are running #! with LXDE at the moment, but I'm tired of all these old packages.
Bacon gave us the almighty Sidbang, so I thought "well, let's try the same experiment I did with #!".
I know I could have done it with a netinstall plus X and LXDE and whatever, but by now Bacon knows me better than I know myself.
This is a totally custom setup: all in Italian, our wallpaper and some stuff the teachers here need. The beauty of it is that when it is finally ready I'll just make an ISO and go fixing those damn laptops. Once again, thanks to Bacon and BBQ tools of course.

had excellent experience with the nightly snapshots of ubuntu, and running lubuntu on a macbook, without any problems. must be the user, then.

Same here. Plus, I've just set up xubuntu for a customer, looks pretty happy.

My better half runs Lubuntu, waiting to be upgraded to Trusty when it comes out. :) Though it gives me some useless errors on boot, so I removed apport. :)

1) what is "retarted"?
2) how can "use" be "retarted" (if you mean the word "retarded")?
3) is it really necessary to comment in this way?
4) The more I know you, the more you smell like rotten fish... sorry to be honest, but most of the time you just upset the community. And yes, we *do* talk about unwanted users behind closed doors.

And by the way, if you think that it is only me who has a problem with you -- we can make a poll, or raise hands, and then you'll see that you did not make many friends, neither here nor in other forums.
