Ah, Fira Sans, I remember! Thanks Gekko. I emulated your look (though, not quite exactly), so thanks for the inspiration!

xfwm4: Aqualemon
fonts: Droid Sans
icons: Faenza Ambiance

My full-bloat Arch Xfce 4.12...

Image

Icons: Buuf
Theme: Numix Frost
Fonts: just plain old Sans

Xfce 4.12 is quite nice, no issues or instability to report.

right on, and solarized I see with off focus transparency. How do you find your workflow there compared to say spectrwm?

^ Only slightly more pointy-clicky. I use the same keybindings everywhere, for the most part.

do you still mainly use it as a purist, finding yourself still in the terminal; file system navigation, etc., only now you have a panel and menu's?

Yes, exactly. Sometimes I get lazy and just use the mouse more. I'm constantly reminded of how silly it is, really, to have panels and menus, but I just plain like xfce, even still.

Actually, need to show off to some people that Linux can be 'pretty' too.

Well done - though, I'd put the dock to the left :D

And hey, I'm on XFCE4 too, today - frying up a Chinese localized variant:

@gekkop Now slap infinality and Monaco or Menlo and you're done ;) Nice wall and an overall scrot !

@bacon Alright you got me confused ;) Blurry wall and compositing looks really nice ! What's the gtk theme ?

Thanks starkey.

The wall is - IIRC - from the cinammon artwork package (Whispy_Tails.jpg) and the GTK is greybird with greybird windecs. Guess they are from the shimmerproject [1], originally. Nice to see that Debian also packages Bluebird and Blackbird (latter is a dark theme with blue highlights).

@bacon Wow, Shimmer project looks great Thank You :)

@gekkop Try these settings: https://github.com/kori/shell.d/blob/master/infinality ( I normally put them in my ~/.xinitrc ). Also have you tried m+ or fantasque sans mono ?

I want the second wallpaper Gekko. :P

Btw Debian still uses the older versions of the Shimmer themes.
