One of my favorites is spectrwm. So it should be scrot :)

IMO still the best 'all-in-one' tiler and I find myself going back to it more than 60% of the time. But catWM is a close 2nd. Sometimes though the active window doesn't follow. Not a big problem.

Still have to figure some configs out, but man page and .conf are too clear to miss something. Liking it a lot.

Actually I was using spectrwm from sid repo. Got the last version from git and now it is even better.

Running spectrwm from git on Spring 2014.

This is a great find!
I love the screenshot function in spectrwm.
The config file is easy to work with.
