Re: spectrwm
That's great dkeg!
This is 4 window splited with modified spectrwm code above, i must do better with tmux to save a few mb once find a little free time.
mpv center that looks and play so nice, it's an awesome gem app.
May i recommend Stellardrone just when you program or code something. Accompanying very quiet and nice.

Yes, you are right, it is excellent!
And yup, removing the "wmii block" fixed that.
Thanks for this neat little thing

Re: spectrwm
Good, Nili. it is not so bad, but you have to enable stuff, to make it more normal.
Almost everything is disabled by default.

Re: spectrwm
so it seems rust, i must check some config settings to make it look better, in default there's some render issue

Re: spectrwm
It will never be pretty, it is almost like a text browser, with pics, and some basic css stuff.
(It will probably not replace your big normal browser completely)

Re: spectrwm
True, i tried many recently, FF/IW Chrome can't easily replaced. I do not want to replace my main browser IW
Nevertheless, i want to use an alterantive one. Who seems interesting that i will keep. I'll check Dillo because didn't early.

Re: spectrwm
Yes, indeed looks good :)
I must remember to check or install on a BBQ copy better, rather than in a Debian stable.

I know, I know, it's been a while, but to prove that I'm still on the BBQ path, here's my latest screenie.
Debian Jessie with spectrwm. Wallpaper was grayscaled with dmenu and spectrwm set up with colors from the wallpaper. For the terminal, color0-color7 are all one color, color8-color15 are another. Saved me time trying to figure out which gray I wanted for what.
Compared to what you guys have been doing, it's kindergarten stuff, but it works for me for now.

Re: spectrwm
Nah, man. It looks great! I forget how calming a grey colorscheme can be... it also looks like it would go well with some Doom Metal ;)

Re: spectrwm
OK, since this is the first day of NaNoWriMo, and since I'm doing it this year for the first time in a few, I needed a theme that would help me to write at super speed.
I grayscaled a cool wallpaper I found, threw together a colorscheme from paletterx and now I'm off to the races. I think this is the best desktop I've put together so far.
