larswm
I haven't had this one installed long but there is a lot to like. I get a plan 9 feel after reading the well documented man page and a single file config. I think this one can do all that I could ever want.

^ nice. Thanks for installing and posting the scrot.
Re: larswm
This is just a live scrot, but this is a lovely WM indeed, very unique. It takes somes getting used to, but I like it. I think I am going to install it and get to know it better.

Thanks for trying it out! Larswm is a little strange, but it has a long history.bones wrote:This is just a live scrot, but this is a lovely WM indeed, very unique. It takes somes getting used to, but I like it. I think I am going to install it and get to know it better.
Re: larswm
Finally installed Lutefisk. Larswm is definitely a unique and interesting wm. Also very quick, and from tests so far, stable.

Looks beautiful Bones. Colors go well with the coffee.
Re: larswm

I can't believe they dropped larswm off the repos. What the fuck is wrong with it?

Unbelievable. Whom did this little package disturb so FUCKING much that it needs to be orphaned and then removed? I want to break his face, personally.
FWIW, just to spite these bitches I have installed it from Jessie's repos. Works perfectly fine in sid. Assholes.

Re: larswm
^ Pretty lame. How hard can it be to make sure it builds before a new release every three years or so. It's not like it's going to change between releases.
I was always kind of surprised it was in the repo to begin with. Someone must have liked it enough to add it at one point. Probably the one guy (besides Lars) who used it. But there are some other odd window managers in the repo too. aewm? Seriously?
