Want more tiles? Different layouts? Floating? Go away ;)

I like it. It's like a manual tiler with a static tile layout. Each tile can contain more than one window (with only one visible) and the windows in one tile can be cycled or moved to other tiles. Something similar could be set up in any manual tiler but the design philosophy here is to reduce the amount of choice and just make something usable.

As the designer says:

Introducing xoat, the straitjacket of window managers.

I like his sense of humour, seems very personal WM, which is nice.

I remember reading about this. Similar to Joe's hcwm. Still a nice option though.

Needless to say it, but I'm saying it anyway: I like it. :)
Love the name also.

Trying it out.
dkeg's right, it reminds me of hcwm. Also, as the author says, it is better running it on screens that are bigger than my poor 1024x768.

Edit: forgot to say one more thing. I opened the two st terms in the scrot using fixed geometry, the wm placed them automatically there.
