tfwm

"tiny floating window manager" -- like all the others, but with a dwm-like config file, and st as its default terminal.

Another one you thought I'd never use again.

I like this wm. evilwm with a dwm config file. Running on yet another init system. This one is "dumb as bricks." https://github.com/fbt/spark

I haven't even started on the simple C inits that are out there.

Superb! How long have you been continuously running LFS now?

It looks like I built the first kernel on November 9, and got CRUX ports working on it about a week later. The ports make it easy to update. but there are some packages I built before the ports that may eventually cause some compatability problems. Nothing has cropped up yet though.

That's an interesting move with the ports. Have you tried to get pacman from Arch? from what I heard it doesn't require too much preparation.

It's really a great setup, hats off to you!

Thank you.

I did try to install pacman, and I got it running on killX, but could not configure it to work properly. It kept complaining about file system structure and dependencies I didn't need. Ports are much easier to configure, at least for me.

Shaved a little memory off with a new reconfigured kernel and some other sneaky tricks.
