I'm moving from one comfort zone to another. This is just a clean build of stump, but I could get used to all this C-t business.

good, good - is this from the (Debian) repos or from source? I think I never got this to work OOTB from the repos (well, has been a while already)

It works in Cream -- DebianJoe made it work from the repo; I don't remember what he had to tweak.

Building it from source is ridiculously easy. I went with Steel Bank Common Lisp as the compiler and installed the libraries mentioned in the readme. Took all of 5 minutes to do including me derping a bit inside sbcl.
