^I utterly love windowmaker :) it's damn quick actually, more people should give it a go, and it remembers everything from last usage without having to do any weird configs etc, placing windows and opening them. Pretty handy OOTB.

It is really quick. I never end up using it very long, but I do appreciate it's existence.

might be handy, but not pretty. in fact, fucking ugly if you ask me. the big downside of windowmaker, imo :)

Heh, i have to agree with you both, it's butt ugly. I wish there was a way to make it prettier. Unfortunately I can't code :/ Because if you want to change it radically, I guess that you need to go into it's code itself.
But...as a "work" WM it's doing a damn good job. Well maybe one day someone will pick it up and prep it for this century ^^
