@Dr_Chroot
That's a fine looking desktop ! Well done !
Also, I recognize this piece of code in the video :P Thanks for using it !

We're also doing a screencast compilation @nixers.net (I started it a few days ago, from a totally random idea. Pretty fun that you're doing it too here !!)
Anyway, I made two videos, so you might enjoy them as well !

Ah, it might be due to my HTTP server. Video players like mplayer or VLC play the videos just fine !

Yeah, as the goal is to make a long compilation, the playback is sped up in order to decrease the overall time :) It also "hides" how we struggle and are slow to type sometimes, making it look smoother to watch (at least, that's what we agreed on)

Thanks for the nice words z3bra :D I cloned your entire git repo about a week or two ago and have been enjoying working through it! I am not skilled at any language in particular yet, but I do enjoy looking over what others have written and try to put together in my head how things flow, etc.

Your webm's are working fine in both Iceweasel and mpv for me at the moment. Very sharp and efficient! I like the idea of speeding it up and taking less time; makes sense when I think about it.

alright, so I tried others, but didn't work well. I broke down and install ffmpeg. I'm testing the waters. Changed wallpaper randomly, then picked a new one. Not that great, but something different to do.
