Not exactly the best wm I have ever used, but the idea is worth a mention. I have not yet looked deeper into the documentation - there are options for colors, fonts, and probably also for window actions and hopefully a way to assign a hotkey for dmenu. I hopped over to bspwm with sxhkd and bar, and it's quite nice, so I guess perlwm has to wait.

P.S. : I haven't been using bspwm for a while, tried that this morning and the API has significantly changed... :( but i like that his other project (xdo) is finally getting some love, incorporating wmutils-like stuff in it. Alright, time to get up my lazy ass and do some ricing.

exactly, that is a big reason of my revisiting of the project. xdo is quite a nice project.
