Minimal Linux. Just busybox and a kernel.

(edit) I got the installed size down a little. Now it uses more memory than the space it takes up on the disk. Sub 10M system club?

^^ I like the "ps_stump" :) That's pretty cool.

...two days later, I've gotten about 7 of the utils to work. I'm not sure that this is worth the effort, but with enough hacking on makefiles, it is possible.

Seems VERY snappy, but not really any easier on resource usage (actually a bit harder on RAM.)

Thanks wux...and the GNU/BSD hybrid was pretty cool until my last reboot and subsequent Kernel Panic.
We're going to file this one under "heavily borked" for now. -_-

I believe that MB said something once about "a fresh install" and some colorful language about how great it is.

Edit: Two reboots in. Still hasn't caught fire yet:

(looks like I *may* have made a small error and gotten a heap leak on my last attempt. Being much friendlier on resources this time around.)
