Re: Screenshots
Hmm, interesting, maybe your right.
thanks! Yepper, working great with monster, that's where I started using it. Thank you for the offer though. Actually, it was the herbst where I needed to add the -f switch to get bar to work.
I go back and forth now b/t herbst and monster. I like the framing in herbst. If I had to use one though, probably would choose monster.

@xaos: really interisting stuff. I tried stumpwm a while ago, I'll give this a try as well.

Re: Screenshots
As I decided to change my background pic today, I remembered there is a thread for these things.
So! here you have the least interesting scrot you will see in the near future:
This is plain dwm, from a .deb with mr debianjoes rolling info bar thing, and the 404 error pic from dropbox as a background.
I will probably change it back to just black in a few minutes, but I love stuff like this, that is sortof impossible

Re: Screenshots
Very pretty!
I have always said jwm is ugly, but... I guess I have to admit it is what you make it

Re: Screenshots
Thanks guys. I have definitely seen some very ugly jwm scrots, but it only has one config file so it's quite easy to make it into something that looks pretty good (at least to me).

Re: Screenshots
debjoe has built the two lisp-wm's to get rid of the error messages (or to get it to run anyway), and i remember i had to add some clx dependecies too. let's see what the boss says.

Re: Screenshots
@ GekkoP: I'll try to pull and build it and see what I come up with. I'm a bit busy right now, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can figure out where it's requesting the function. (That sounds like your problem, as in you have a function it's requesting that isn't found...normally that means a missing dependency or typo in a script.)
Re: Screenshots
^ thanks. Take your time, Joe. I can work with the repo package for now, as usual it's just my curiosity :)

Re: Screenshots
"chef@grill" sounds simply great ;)
(by the way, you can attach scrots directly by clicking on 'Full Editor' under the input field and then choosing "add file" IIRC - if it makes things easier :) )
