Thanks for the reminder, wux. Will push Paardenrookvlees and Argentina78 to MATE1.6 when I'm back.

Re: Screenshots
thanks - haven't done too much
it feels a bit 'big' (or, i feel somewhat small using it)
I made the big mistake of installing 'gnome' 8D (in a foolish attempt to bring it up to date)
1.2Gb / 2 hours install later - WTF are all these stupid games and brasero doing here and the office suite!?!?!
ahh - might revert to default install (which is BTW not the same as the live session, i'm sure you know) and start small. go for the core packages.

New bbq proof install on my eee pc, with herbstluftwm running, and systemd installed and working nice. System is very fast. Tags missing.

Hah me too!
Actually spent ages going through wall base. Then I checked out the bbq and there it was a perfect grey to go with flat studio!

Re: Screenshots
My first home-roast :)
Based on 'Rocks!' - but with LOADS of the stuff the I need, and NONE of the stuff I don't :)
Wallpaper stolen from somewhere, main style based on Capitan, but with a few mods.
Had a bit of fun teaching myself how to 'fettle' the XFCE menus, but got there in the end.
I am loving linuxbbq :)
