Hehe, because "After" in German means anus...
Well, that's Afterstep as it comes from the Debian repos:
search for the line NoDisplay=true and change it to
Restart your display manager, for example
or add
to your .xinitrc if you don't use a Display Manager.
Well, that's Afterstep as it comes from the Debian repos:
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get install afterstep
sudo leafpad /usr/share/xsessions/AfterStep.desktop
Code: Select all
NoDisplay=false
Code: Select all
sudo service lightdm restart
Code: Select all
exec AfterStep

Re: Screenshots
^ It's not too complicated wux -- just install fbterm and follow the directions in the man page. You will also need "fbv" which is not in the repo, but you can get the source from here and then build it (untar the archive, then run "configure" "make" and "sudo make install" in the source directory). You might be missing some headers and libraries -- use "apt-file search" to find anything make complains about. Then just use the script from the fbterm man page to start fbterm with a background image, and run tmux inside fbterm.

Re: Screenshots
No, like the fbterm man page :)
I just used the default font. I think it's DejaVu Sans Mono.
